Coaching individuals

I provide professional coaching grounded in intersectional feminist values and based on evidence and research. We often find ourselves working in situations where it can be hard to live and work authentically. I can support you to develop ways of working that allow you to live according to your personal values.

Maybe you are working towards making your work more equitable and inclusive? Perhaps you are curious about how to apply intersectional feminist principles to your daily challenges? Are you a researcher or development worker struggling to live your values in a system that wasn’t designed for you?

Whatever your focus, my feminist coaching perspective can empower you to find your own solutions and approach your work with integrity and confidence!

Workshops for teams

My group coaching sessions and workshops will enable you to develop a more aware and inclusive team. These sessions are fully customised to the aspirations, needs and context of your team.

Workshops can help your team to:

  • Understand the impact of gender, social norms and power dynamics

  • Develop a more inclusive workplace

  • Design projects, programmes or research which embody your organisation’s values

  • Develop skills such as cross-cultural collaboration, communicating research and monitoring & evaluation

Workshops are delivered in-person or online. Resources for teams based in Timor-Leste can be provided in Tetum.

"After just one hour of chatting with Jenny, I was able to design a step by step approach to help me achieve key personal and professional goals. Her patience, empathy, and genuine interest are just some of the attributes that Jenny naturally demonstrates and shares with you during her coaching. I whole heartily recommend Jenny's coaching services if you are currently disoriented, confused, or just in need of thoughtful guidance in your life."

I began my career as a marine ecologist wanting to save the oceans by doing research and conservation. It wasn’t long before I realised that the best way to have the impact I wanted, was to work with fishing communities instead. As a lifelong feminist, I realised that gender-aware solutions are needed to social and environmental challenges. I am currently getting my PhD on the subject.

Applying my intersectional feminist values to my work in marine conservation and the development sector, showed me that aligning your professional life with your personal values enables you to be your best, most authentic self, and produce meaningful results. I work to support individuals and teams with developing their values and implementing them on a daily basis.

Work with me to get the support you need to live your values!
